I am Katy Smillie-Wilcox and I have been working as a British Sign Language/English interpreter since 2012. I am a fully qualified and registered interpreter (RSLI) with NRCPD. In 2025 I qualified as a Professional Supervisor.
I currently spend most of my time in North Carolina, USA which means that the majority of my interpreting and supervising is conducted online.
In addition to interpreting I provide training, consultancy and can be contacted to provide support to new trainees entering the profession. Please contact me for further details.
